Becoming a leader in safety training programs is a long road. This required years of experience in working with companies and getting to know more about their needs. Expanding our programs and talent base has led us to where we are today.
Our company began in entertainment providing events for charities and then Fortune 500 companies.
The founder of THEY improv, LLC is Todd Rice. He has worked for the Speaker of the House of Representatives, the FAA through Martin-Marietta Air Traffic Systems, in operations on the floor of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange as well as being an executive for technology companies. His family has been involved in the oil and gas industry since early in the 20th century and his father and grandfather were involved in the chemical industry in the latter half of the 20th century. He has been exposed to industrial practices domestically as well as in third world countries. He has been exposed to both institutional safety as well as innovative practices when proper methodologies were not available. While not directly involved in the industry or with formal training, he focuses on the culture and intellectual skills needed to create an environment of safety.
Other employees of THEY improv, both permanent and contractors, have a variety of experience levels in various industries and many years of experience in training and entertaining people at the same time. Utilization of these skills better enables people to maintain their attention and retain information.
This site was created to inform our clients about our services in this specialty. The pages contain information about the types of services offered and some of the potential benefits that can be gained. These programs are not a replacement for OSHA and other mandated programs and are simply designed to assist in the creation of a culture of safety. Nothing can replace the will of the company, however, and it can’t be stressed enough that success requires a full commitment on behalf of a company and management to safety protocols at all levels.
